When the lights come on along 18 metres of red truck, the whole town knows Christmas is on its way. And in the middle of it all, Santa sits in his sleigh waiting to hear your wishes.

The project
How we made it happen
At Coca Cola, the Christmas truck is a tradition. When the big, glowing trucks roll into town, everyone knows Christmas is on its way, and for many families it is the moment the Christmas spirit really arrives.
When Coca Cola called Event Carrier, we knew straight away that we wanted to be part of it. The task was to create a Christmas experience that could travel from town to town and turn an ordinary square into an evening of Christmas magic for the whole family.
We took care of the practical side from start to finish: the tour schedule, permits, power and set-up at every stop, so the truck was ready when the lights were due to come on. The stage with the sleigh and Santa was built so it could be set up and packed down evening after evening.
The result was a tour where children and adults met Santa, handed in their wish lists and took pictures in the sleigh, while Coca Cola's Christmas tradition came right up close to the people it was created for.
How it works
A visit from the Christmas truck
01
The lights come on
The truck rolls onto the square and thousands of lights switch on at once. Christmas music plays and the snow falls (weather permitting).

Santa arrives
Santa takes his seat in the sleigh on the truck's stage. The reindeer are ready, and the elves keep the queue in order.

Meet Santa
Say hello, tell him what you wish for and get a picture in the sleigh. Santa has plenty of time for everyone.

Wish lists are handed in
Santa collects every wish list in his big sack and takes them home to Greenland.
